“Winter Landscape” is a series of paintings created using botanical prints with acrylic paints on Clairefontaine Multi-Techniques paper. Inspired by the Danish winter landscape, I collect dried plants during my walks in Amager and Kalvebod Commons. These include branches with berries, grass, and seed capsules, where the specific species is not always the main focus. What matters most to me is the feeling that nature conveys—a surface that appears to be dead, yet still radiates beauty. Nature is simply sleeping through the winter, ready to awaken, scatter its seeds, and be reborn in full life.
